Creo Engine, the company behind the $CREO token, took part in The Evolution of GameFi, an event hosted by Indodax. The company shared a recap of its participation in a post dated 27 September 2024. According to Creo Engine, the event brought together speakers from the gaming and blockchain industries, who discussed the latest trends and innovations in GameFi.
Darrel Wijaya, CTO and co-founder of Creo Engine, shared insights on several topics. On the Web3 gaming landscape in Indonesia, he noted that it is steadily growing in popularity, with more players and developers embracing decentralized technologies and creating new opportunities.
Turning to the differences between Web2 and Web3 gaming, Wijaya said Web3 gaming is transformative because, compared with traditional Web2 games, it gives players more control over in-game assets, runs on decentralized systems and lets them earn real-world rewards.
He also outlined Creo Engine's mission for Web3 gaming. Wijaya said the company is committed to the wellbeing of the Web3 gaming sector, with an emphasis on innovation and benefits for what the company calls Creotizens. On the subject of balancing game economics, the team highlighted the importance of creating mutual benefits for both players and developers within a healthy and sustainable gaming ecosystem.
Creo Engine thanked Indodax, as well as Ronald Widjaja from Astaverse and Nathanael from Tokenomy, for making the event a success.
